“I’M A SINGER/RAPPER. I’M NOT THE SORT OF GIRL THAT WILL BE WORKING IN FUCKING WETHERSPOONS FOR £8.00 AN HOUR…”

Nicole Lecky’s BBC Three Musical Drama Called “Mood” Was Adapted From Her Own One Women Play “Superhoe” That She Put On At The Royal Court Theatre. The Songs Reveal Inner Thoughts And Feelings, But Ultimately Pull Us Deeper Into Protagonist Sasha’s Mind.

Her Vision For The Screening Was That She Wanted It To Be A Room Full Of People Who Would Respond To It Right Way. She Hopes When People Tune Into The Six Episode Drama That They Will Enjoy It And Laugh, But Equally Wants People To Think When They Watch It. I Want People To Feel Seen And Relate To It. But At The Same Time, There Are These Important Themes And Issues Within It Like Homelessness, Sex Work And Un Glamourised Side Of Influencing.

One Thing I Enjoy About Sasha’s Character Is The Authenticity Explored On Our Screens We See Her Struggle With Having Confidence And Self Esteem. However, She Covers It Of Being Leary Which Is A Facade. (@6kenza) https://youtu.be/Y1xtwqnW9Fo

“she feisty she a Leo 🌶”

“We Love Being A Boss, Lecky Laughs. It’s Hard Enough To Be In A Show And Write It But With All The Musical Elements And Actually Really Wanted To Executively Produce. I Wanted To Know Everything That Comes With A Lack Of Sleep. But You Have To Go For It”. (@ivoriandoll) https://youtu.be/6Xgxi69dYQ0 “Boss out now on @grmdaily 🔥💖 @germandonerkebabuk”

Mood Is Getting The Recognition It Deserves As It Will Be Finally Coming To America On November 6th @bbcamerica @amcplus (@thelecky) “dreams are active 🌹”.

“If There’s One Thing To Take Away From Her Vision, Hard Work And Mood, It’s The Fact This Series Will Only Be The Start Of Her Becoming A Regular Star On Our Screens And We Honestly Cannot Wait”.
